Janelle's Bathroom

This was a project I only helped with for my sister-in-law Janelle renovating her hall bath, completed in October of 2020.

This was a big project to gut the bathroom and replace everything in it with upgraded fixtures including replacing the tub with a shower.  We pulled out the vanity and toilet, and then chopped up the bathtub into smaller pieces to get it out.  We pulled up all the old flooring and started prepping for the shower.  We had to make some adjustments to the framing for the shower pan and some modifications to the sewer piping under the floor.  Once that was complete, we installed the shower pan and then routed the new tubing for the shower.  We built in some cutouts on the side and back of the shower and installed cement backer board in the shower and the floors in the bath.  We sealed everything and Janelle completed all the tile work for the shower.  Once that was complete, we installed the tile on the floor and installed the new toilet and vanity.  Some painting and install of additional fixtures by Janelle and the project was complete.

Janelle did a great job on this project, and it was a huge improvement to the home!
